Jalapeno Garlic Hummus

Jalapeno Garlic Hummus

Jalapeno Garlic Hummus

Let’s face it. This shit is addicting. The store bought brands know this too and charge an arm and a leg for it. $5 for an 8 oz tub of hummus is unreasonable, knowing that it will be gone in a couple of minutes. This recipe makes 2lbs worth of hummus for less than $5 and is a lot tastier if I do say so myself.
I like to use dried chickpeas instead of the canned; but you can definitely used canned. The very basic ingredients to any hummus recipe are chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and olive oil. Then you can add pretty much anything to the hummus to make your own flavor. Garlic, jalapeño, spinach, roasted red peppers, cilantro, parsley, etc, are all great additions to hummus.
