Black Tea
1cuphot water
3black tea bags
Brown Sugar Syrup
1/3cuptapioca pearls
1cupbrown sugar
1/2cuphot water
Brown Sugar Bubble Tea Assembly
tapioca pearls
2tbspbrown sugar syrup
1cupblack teachilled
1/2cupice
1/4cuphalf and half
Instructions
Pour 1 cup of hot water into a cup with 3 black tea bags. Let steep for 20 minutes. Cool and set aside.
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the tapioca pearls. Once they float to the top, cover and simmer for 3 minutes. Turn off the heat and let sit for another 3 minutes.
Cool under cold water in a small strainer.
Place the brown sugar on top of the tapioca pearls in the strainer over a bowl.
Pour a 1/2 cup of hot water over the brown sugar and tapioca pearls. Let sit for 30 minutes.
Place the tapioca pearls in the bottom of a tall glass with 1 tbsp of the brown sugar syrup. Place the ice on top.
